Giancarla Sambo is an entertainment and media attorney with over 15 years of experience in the law. She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Entertainment and New Media Law from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Giancarla advises clients across English- and Spanish-speaking markets on a range of transactional matters, including contract negotiation and drafting for talent, productions, pageants, and media companies.
 

Her practice includes handling production agreements, sponsorships, talent management contracts, influencer marketing, licensing, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, co-branding, custom content, and sweepstakes compliance. Giancarla’s multi-jurisdictional experience enables her to navigate the legal frameworks of both New York and Puerto Rico effectively.

Before practicing law, Giancarla was a media personality, collaborating with prominent outlets like Audacy (Entercom), NBC Television, iHeartMedia, Spanish Broadcasting Systems, and Univision. This experience gives her valuable industry insights that inform her legal counsel. She is also an active speaker on entertainment and media law, and she mentors emerging legal professionals. Giancarla’s background as a pageant contestant and director further shapes her approach to managing and negotiating pageant-related agreements.
